Exceptional

Very centrally located hotel. First time staying here. From the minute we walked into the hotel, staff were so friendly and very helpful. We had a room overlooking Belfast. Rooms lovely and all necessities taken care of from shower gel to coffee etc even complimentary water and wine in mini fridge. Beds comfortable, pillows comfortable and super king size. Will definitely stay again

Will certainly be top of the Hotel list the next time we visit Belfast

Seemed to be the closest good hotel to the city centre. The staff were exceptional - professional but friendly, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. The Residents evening menu was limited but was certainly to our liking, so much so that we dined there every night of our stay.

There did not seem to be any instructions on how to regulate the heating. Once we worked it out it was simple but not intuitive.

Wonderful hotel close to everything

We arrived early and a room was ready for us which was great! All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious with a comfy bed and a large walk in shower with good water pressure! I loved the furnishings and the bar downstairs was good for a drink..would definitely recommend this hotel.

We did everthing we could in 2 days,and my wife never got near a single shop,that says it all.Busy but worth it.

Location,central to most things and within walking distance of Shops,tours,theatre,attractions.

Pretty expensive but on the whole,well worth it for our stay for our son’s 21st birthday.

Everything, I could not fault the fitzwilliam at all! One thing that really stands out and makes your stay so comfortable is how accommodating and friendly the staff are!! I have been here on numerous occasions and have always been welcomed and looked after! Thank you

Celebration Break

Location. Breakfast Hotel Bar Welcoming, professional and efficient staff.

Room cleanliness unsatisfactory and didn't meet expectations. This was a Superior Room. After speaking to Reception Supervisor, given an upgraded second room to Executive Room. Lighting in bathroom low level; you cannot clearly see face in mirror especially difficult when putting contact lenses in. As bathroom tiles are black on walls and dark grey on floor, adds to overall darkness Plug sockets in upgraded room good but in our original room plugs no where near mirror or convenient to use with ease !

There wasn’t anything we particularly didn’t like. Just didn’t get up spend a long time there. Staff seemed pleasant.

Best in Belfast

The hotel is gorgeous and in a terrific location. But the thing that truly sets it apart is the staff. Nigel + Gavin were amazing and helped us numerous times, going above + beyond! The room and bed were comfortable. The bathroom is huge and had both a shower with great water pressure and a tub.

Breakfast was very expensive.

Very good experience at a slightly higher price

Location was spot on, right in the city commute by walking and everything accessible near by

Pricing was increased while we extended our stay, where in fact we as long staying customers should have got some discount as part of customer satisfaction

Excellent

The bar in the evening; lovely staff all round; clean room and comfortable bed. The mini bar in the bedrooms and mostly the kettle and facilities to make a cuppa in the room. Central to amenities and accessibility to the tour buses etc

We thought there was an indoor swimming pool which is not the case. The rooms are facing other buildings so not ideal if you wish to open curtains etc but unfortunately it is central town so can't be helped.

Everything - the hospitality, the staff, just the experience as a whole - couldn't fault them from the moment we entered. So welcoming. Most of hotels we stay at have really high beds but this hotel was the opposite and comfy out.

Wonderfully comfortable stay.

We felt it was such good value for money. I was incredibly impressed by the cleanliness and modern and updated everything was. Our room was the perfect size for us and everything was just comfortable and made to feel special by the efforts of the staff. The location couldn’t be better and everything we planned to do was walkable from here.

I have no complaints at all. We loved it so much, we’re returning in December!
